We have been designing and producing customised trophies for their four season competitions, those pictured above the RC Transmitter were designed for the first year. Now in the second year we have come up with three different designs and will complete the year with a final design for each season. We have enjoyed this project very much, working with Andy at the...

Blue the Raptor

Blue & baby Blue raptors Top & Bottom Jaw - Dovetail Joint This has to be my favourite project to date and I look forward to doing more of them. From previous projects of similar scale the main issue was always the glue, because we use gorilla glue that expands to fill any gaps in the joins, this meant the segments needed to be strapped together. So with that in mind at the cut section instead of a straight cut with snap plugs we chose a dovertail joint, this meant that the segments would fit...

Dragon Shield Trophy

Truth Dragon Shield trophy custom painted This project was so much fun, starting with a standard sized stl file created by STL Flix and increasing the size to 200%, segmented the pieces to fit the print bed and added spring clip attachment points. This is to help with alignment when glueing the segments together. Once printed it was a simple process of glueing the segments together because of the connectors, the head printed in two sections not including the horns and the shield in four. The Den is a play space for the community to come and play various tabletop war games like Warhammer 40k. Being tasked with creating a more immersive area I wanted to bring the limited edition Titus model out of the back room and display it in a safe cabinet for all to enjoy. I had an idea of creating a playing card from the Warforge online game of Warhammer 40k into a three dimensional cabinet to...

Wolf Shop Sign

A local business selling tabletop gaming products, painting supplies, pokemon cards, among a mass of other things asked us to create a feature piece for outside the shop so people would notice them when passing by. Seen as their logo was a wolf head it only seemed right to make them a large wolf head. This was to be the biggest 3D print we'd done so far, but with confidence that the final product would be awesome we got started. So it's been just over 12 months since getting a Bambu 3D printer and experiencing the joy of bringing my digital art to life, especially with a machine that doesn't require any tinkering and the learning curve isn't as difficult as with other printers.
